Sound sensitivity isn’t just inconvenient – it’s a serious barrier to health, social connection, and daily function. Chronic exposure to overwhelming noise can raise cortisol levels, increase cardiovascular risk (especially in women), and lead to isolation and decreased mental health.
The Product Problem
Current solutions for sound sensitivity are blunt, non-adaptive, and isolating, blocking all sound rather than intelligently reducing what overwhelms while preserving what connects us.
